Risk

I received a note from a family who recently went on a sailing trip in the British Virgin Islands. While they were on their trip, they visited several of the islands and enjoyed a relaxing time.

She sent me a note with these words...

This is from a T-Shirt that Phil got on our sailing trip to the British Virgin Islands. Thought you'd like it...

You could get hit by the boom and die

You could fall overboard and die

You could capsize and die

OR

you could stay home and fall of the couch and die

GET OFF THE COUCH!

I like that!

Here are three questions for you....

1. When was the last time you took a risk and got off the couch?

2. When was the last time you went on an adventure?

3. When was the last time you peaked out over the edge of the rut to see new horizons?

Today was a day that made me proud as a father. My adult age kids decided to "get off the couch" (I am using that metaphorically, because neither of them are couch potatoes) and go on an adventure.

They are taking an eight day road trip together.

I dedicate today's blog entry to them.

Rock on roadtrippinsibs...we are proud of you!
